Job Summary

Ensure the proper treatment and control of company and client funds.  Manage the cash coming into and out of the company.  Banking is a key driver of our business and this role is responsible for all aspects of banking.


Essential Functions

  • Daily banking including cash cons, direct deposits, positive pay files and exceptions, preparing cash entries, verification of client funds prior to release of payroll ensuring bank files are prepared and sent to banks and processed timely.
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and collections. Set up new vendor files and prepare annual 1099 and 1096.
  • Prepare and complete monthly reconciliations of all bank, HSA and FSA accounts  and contributions to HSA/FSA.
  • Understand and report on treasury limits and monitor need for review of limits.
  • Audit benefit reconciliation monthly to identify discrepancies and ensure those are corrected.
  • Oversee Bank Reconciliations process.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of all bank reconciliations.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
  • Special research projects and information collection.
  • Assist in preparing weekly bank summary reports.
  • Update all tabs on the bank summary reports.



  • 4 years general accounting.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • QuickBooks and Access experience preferred but not required.
